I can do everything alone. I don't need anyone. I am smart, hard working, and most of all, I have been hurt, so why do I need anyone?
You're not alone there... been there myself many times.
We are all in this life together, and none of us got where we are without help from someone.
That is the heart of the story "Lost Power Cell" because everyone needs a little heart inside of us to be reminded that we are not in life alone.
Elia, an engineer on a dust-covered planet, is trying to take on a monumental task, forgetting she is not alone, but her own ego gets in the way, putting her life in danger when all she could have done was reach out a hand for a little help. Like so many of us hyper-independent people or those of us screaming out that none of us go through this on our own, she has to learn hard lessons like so many of us do over and over again.
We are a ragtag group of global artists trying to tell a story we feel hits on something we all need to be reminded of. Not just today, but every day, as the world grows more divided and dark, why not shine a bit of light? After all, that's what we do as storytellers, as artists, as people hoping to create a better world than the one we are in.
