[Closed] Project Overview:
I am seeking a freelance technical artist or character rigger to port a comprehensive suite of assets from X-COM 2 (UE3.5) to the Daz Genesis 8 (Male & Female) platform. All source .upk files are extracted and ready for conversion.
Scope of Work:
Modular Armor Sets: Tiers 1, 2, and 3. Must be delivered as modular components (Head (Tier 3 only), Torso, Arms, Legs) rigged for both G8M and G8F.
Weapon Props: Tiers 1–3 base models plus all modular attachments (optics, stocks, magazines—approx. 10–15 per weapon).
Gremlin Drones: Tiers 1, 2, and 3. Original Unreal bone hierarchies are present; these need to be translated into functional Daz rigs for articulated panels and thrusters.
Technical Requirements:
Rigging/Weight Painting: High-quality deformation on G8 figures. Minimal clipping and "solid" look for hard-surface armor plates (no "rubbery" metal).
Smart Props: Accurate hand-grip alignment and parenting for all weapons to ensure "plug-and-play" compatibility with G8 hand poses.
Materials: PBR to Iray material conversion. Setup of Emission surfaces for original "tech-glow" areas.
