Wooden Ammo Box with .50 bmg rounds

This project was not a quick render. It was a test of patience, discipline, and technical resilience and focused exploration of wood grain, metal wear, and controlled product lighting. I revisited Substance Painter after nearly two years away, rebuilt materials multiple times, and reworked lighting setups for each camera to eliminate flat, artificial surfaces. I downscaled textures from 4K to 2K to stabilize performance and leaned heavily into normal detailing and post-processing to recover depth and realism. What began as a dark, muddy scene evolved through iteration into a refined, cinematic product study. Every adjustment was deliberate. Setbacks forced improvement. The final result reflects persistence as much as technique.
