Hello! Ive been looking for help with a project of mine.
I am working on a mod for a Unity-run mobile game called Dragon Quest VIII. one part of my project is including adding a new model to the game acting as an armor set for the main character to display when wearing a specific Armor Set.
for the purpose of this, I wish to apply my model as a replacement of another model to test it. I have the Unity3d bundle of the old model that I wish to replace, an fbx of the new model, the textures for the new model, and an an attached example image of the fbx with textures applied in a dumb pose.

Despite the fact that I possess these resources, the model I have (the fbx) is not matching with the old model's bones, as well as likely other attributes.I need help with effectively repackaging the Unity3d file I sent with a properly mapped version of the fbx I wisht to insert (likely the bones and skinnedmeshrenderer can be applied from the old model to the new one) so that it may function in the game with the same animations as the old model had.
Im sorry if the explanation comes off as a tad vague..
as for how id pay, id prefer to make this a single payment, with an additional bonus fee in case any fixes are needed. I hope to be rather flexible on the price and time of it all, for your convenience. Thank you!
