I’ve been working on a spiritual successor to Future Cop LAPD for a few years now, but I’ve been having a difficult time finding an animator for the occasional job animating the mech.

I don’t have a big budget (read: I’m paying out of pocket) so I’m hoping to find someone willing to give a good price. Right now I’m just looking for a run cycle, but there’s potential for more work in the future.

I’ve rigged the mech in Blender, so preference to people with experience there.

This is a pay on delivery gig only (ie if you submit garbage that doesn’t live up to your portfolio, then I’m not paying as I already got scammed on fiverr), but if you’re worried about my credentials, I’m sure there’s still some OG members on here who could vouch for me
Happy to see a preview render showing the quality of the animation as confirmation before you send the files.

Paid in USD via PayPal. Make me a reasonable offer and include a link to your portfolio.

 The Job:

1 run cycle with a convincing amount of weight.

This mech is built to scale in CM so it is 18 feet or 5.5m tall. It's meant to be on the smaller side for a mech (not a mech warrior building sized), and a lightweight build.

I would imagine that it weighs as much as a large pickup truck, so maybe around 8,600lb or 3,900kg. It can run at a speed of around 18 -25 mph or 30 -40 km/h, so I want the animation to reflect this and  give a good sense of the weight of the mech.

It also transforms into a hovercraft for faster movement. This video is an example of the transformation for reference purposes:

If you are interested in the gig, post here or DM me and include a link to your portfolio. No link and you’ll be ignored.

Thank you!
