Stylized sword exercise

I had a free week between semesters, and because I have wanted to explore more stylized stuff, I bought a tutorial on how to create a stylized sword prop by Sabrina Echouafni on Flipped Normals. As someone who is still relatively new to sculpting, I like stylized stuff because it is more forgiving, and I can just have fun and explore.

I didn't want to copy the tutorial exactly, so I went and looked for my own references and concepts. I found a concept art for the game Enshrouded by Julie Lafeuille that I liked and decided to make a model from that. Here is my PureRef:

I made a blockout of the blade and hilt in Blender. For the animal skull, I decided to cheat a little bit and speed up the proces by importing a real life 3D model of a mouflon skull from Sketchfab that I just decimated and remeshed. This gave me decent shape to start sculpting on in Zbrush.

For the skull, I followed this tutorial on YouTube, which taught me how to quickly create horns in ZBrush by creating one part and then copying, tapering, and twisting the whole subtool. I thought this was very useful. The rest of the process was pretty straightforward; I was just adding more details with trim and orb brushes. Here is the result so far. I might spend a little bit more time on polishing the blade to push the stylized look more, but I would like to finish my low poly today and get to baking, as this project is just a small fun experiment, and I don't want to spend too much time worrying about it.
