Yes, this is Maya and all this rigs used the same setup, to be short its 4 corrective joints for upperarms (to correct forward, back, up and down movement), 2 twist joints for each upperarm and 2 corrective joints for clavicle movement. Mesh proxies also used to make the task easier, because its almost impossible to skin the mesh that can blasted on 30 different objects without them intersect with each other. The mesh is painted to show how many parts it consist of.
I want to create a breakdown video with small explanation and time-lapse videos that shows the painting process, how the proxies looks like and how to setup corrective joints, but I cant say the exact date or any timeline for this because theres something else im currently working on.
