Senior Hard Surface Artist (Remote):

We're seeking an experienced Senior Hard Surface Artist to create modular 3D assets that meet strict criteria in terms of fidelity and precision. You will create high-quality modular assets that serve as building blocks for immersive game worlds.

Requirements:
- Portfolio demonstrating photorealistic hard surface work at AAA quality
- Experience creating assets for modern game engines (Unreal, Unity, or proprietary engines)
- Expert proficiency in Maya and/or Blender for hard surface modeling
- Develop photorealistic PBR materials and textures using industry-standard workflows
- Knowledge of UV unwrapping, texture density, and efficient texture layout
- Strong grasp of edge flow, topology, and weighted normals
Nice to haves:
- Solid understanding of real-time rendering constraints and optimization techniques
- Experience with Substance Designer for procedural material creation
- Knowledge of modular kit creation, trim sheets, and tileable textures
- Understanding performance optimization strategies
What we offer:

- Salary range is 18k-38k USD depending on expertise and experience.
