Hi everyone!
I’m trying to transform an stl miniature into a series of subtools with good topology for their deep customization for 3d printing. I’ve dynameshed the main model, separated it into pieces, then remeshed, subdivided and projected details for each subtool. However, even after all the transformations:
Subtools’ topology cannot fully support all fine details without having hundreds of millions of polygons.
Mesh surface with millions faces has an uneven density of polygons, which leads to details with very lowpoly looking areas during sculpting.
Using polypaint or polygroups before zremesher helps a little, but doesn’t completely solve the problem.
Is there a way to turn an stl into a collection of subtools that will:
Fully support the flow of all large and small details.
Have an even topology that will support deep customization.
Won't have insane numbers of polygons.
