Howdy! This is my first time posting here, so I'm still figuring it out. I'm an animation senior at CCS, but I'm taking a couple game art classes before I graduate, so heres' my first game project! This is a small diorama of a section of the cafeteria from Psychonauts, but modeled more directly from Peter Chan's concept art for it. My overall goal was to make it look a bit less like it's from 2005.
All textures are just edited from Adobe Substance 3D Painter, aside from an HDRI from polyhaven: "Zwartkops Straight Sunset"

I LOVE ZBRUSH GRRAAAAHHHHHH anyway I also really like Spyro and when this project got introduced, I knew I wanted to do one of the dragons, and Lateef was who I landed on. All the dragons are beautifully designed, but I especially like the Dream Weavers, and Lateef is just a chill guy, so he became my homie for the past couple week. I made myself refrain from replaying the game yet again or looking up anything other than his concept art and original low poly model, and here's the result! I mainly used the base tools, but I also used many AJ and Orb brushes, as well as the GIO soft forms brush. Fun stuff, I like them a lot.
The original concept art that I based this sculpt on was made by Nicola Saviori.
Whew! That's one more semester in the books. The assignment for this one was another environment diorama but using foliage and trim sheets. I got to sculpt another dragon, so I'm happy. My assignment was a bit smaller than most of my classmates, as I am an animation senior and my professor wanted me to prioritize my thesis film (bless you Adam), but with that in mind, I am happy with what I was able to accomplish under those parameters.
The original concept art that I based this piece on was by Johannes Figlhuber.
