Hey guys, I'm still learning 3D modeling and I have a question. When creating sharp corners on a model, it's common practice to mark them as sharp edges before UV unwrapping and baking. However, during texturing, this issue occurs (screenshot). Is there a way to get rid of this visual sharp seam problem without adding geometry? Are there any current, comprehensive solutions?
Ah, I just had this problem and found a solution on reddit. All edges that are marked as sharp, need a seam. Re-unwrap, rebake, and the issue should be resolved.
