Hey everyone. I'm self-taught, this is my first 3D products. Worked on it for quite a while, learning modeling and texturing techniques along the way. I tried to keep the mesh optimized—14,000 triangles—but knowing how it would look with textures, I would have added more polygons. Used Blender and Substance Painter.
Instantly recognized this weapon (didn't have to image search here) because I owned one during a stint in the forces waaay back in the day ...most of us had their favorite playtime weekender locked in the armory for 'yippy' shoots down at the brigade range so fairly knowledgeable handling it. At a glance I'd say pretty good overall for a first time effort, materials are correct though slightly glossy, nice silhouette and for games best practice to increase bevel/chamfer radius plus extra edge segments for curved parts or those areas when viewed up close there's noticeable faceting, like the receiver - chamber assembly and butt plate.

Thanks for the feedback and refs! Never held this gun IRL, but ran with it a lot in DayZ.
