Game-Ready Fire Extinguisher

Hey all,

This fire extinguisher is a prop I worked on bit by bit to craft a true hero asset for games. What I enjoyed the most was the texturing process, as I learned a lot during this phase. I experimented with new techniques, including anchor points, to enhance the details and realism.

This looks great. One thing that stands out to me is the chunkiness of the rubber hose, and the two metal bands around the body. If possible I'd like to see a few more edges to smooth out these curves.

Thanks, Eric, for the feedback! I created the high-poly model in ZBrush using Polish Edges to make it as smooth as possible.

I think what Eric is talking about is you can see the low poly issue here in the render. If this was for a hero asset, or for a portfolio, I would honestly just add a few more edge loops into the low poly specifically here so you can't see this jagged shape.

Looks really great! The only thing that stands out to me, as that the paint is shaded like a metal, while most fire extinguishers I have seen have a glossy red paint that isn't metallic.

Thanks for the feedback! You're right most fire extinguishers have a glossy, non-metallic red paint. I'll adjust the shading to better reflect that look next time
