Hey everyone,
I’ve been working as a 3D Generalist for the past 8 years, and while I’m proud of the game visuals I’ve contributed to (the audience seems to appreciate them too!), I feel it’s time to take my skills to the next level. I want to refine my abilities in lighting, color theory, and composition to elevate the visual fidelity of my work and bring a more polished, professional touch to my projects.
I’ve been considering courses from CG Master Academy and Gnomon Workshop, but I’m uncertain if they’re the best option to help me transition from an intermediate to a pro level. Given the significant cost and time investment, I’d love to hear from anyone with firsthand experience with these platforms or similar resources.
Are there any specific courses, books, or other resources you’d recommend for mastering these areas? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
