Fall Baptiste - Overwatch Fan Skin

Hope I am doing this right, Im new to polycount but I would love some feedback.

Currently I am close to completing an Overwatch fan skin for the character Baptiste. I want it to be game-ready and match the Overwatch style.

Heres what my low poly looks like:

(And heres a reference of Baptiste in-game/Some refs I used)

I am currently unwrapping his gun to start texturing and then I will move on to rigging him.

Again any feedback is appreciated!

Hi SSkelton. I dont understand the branch coming out of his shoulder. Seems out of place. Design and detailing are not really near the quality of your reference character. There are also anatomy problems with your figure.Seems like you tried to avoid them by covering them up ( woolly jumper).

Overwatch characters are pretty good as a balance of hard and soft surface modelling. I reckon first off you could concentrate on human anatomy by using naked figures. Good idea is to use a free app like Daz3D as a reference for practice. You can also switch off textures to better study form and you can dial in things like musculature and weight.
    Cheers

@Kanga Thank you for your feedback! I will do some more body studies with sculpting. If you can could you tell me what exactly seems off? Or is it all of it? The sweater was planned from the start so maybe I should do more folds/clothes studies if it seems off.

I was trying to do a skin like these more casual/formal wear skins.

Just compare your work with the figures in the last post. I really don't like the sausage legs on the left figure but I guess that's fashion. Look at the posture of the examples I have posted: hips slightly forward, shoulders slightly back, head slightly up, feet comfortably angled, gaps under the arms not weird, shoulrders a little back. Draw a line through the side view to check balance.

Perhaps the most important, Have fun!

I finished UV'ing the gun, and roughly posed him in the same stance to see what I need to work on alongside some anatomy tweaks.
I think the eyes/eye shade needs some work and a bit more detail in the pants, they feel too bland.
