Hey all!
I’m putting together ideas for a short animated project about Louis Riel, focusing on his ride through the battlefield at Batoche. It’s meant to be a stylized, intense piece that highlights his bravery and faith (kind of like a historical drama, but with a lot of atmospheric lighting and contrast—thinking chiaroscuro style).
Right now, I’m mostly just exploring ideas and figuring out what this could look like, so I’d love to connect with anyone interested in this kind of project. Whether you’re into character modeling, animation, lighting, or just chatting about historical storytelling, I’d love to hear your thoughts and see if we could riff on some ideas together.
If this sounds like your vibe, feel free to hit me up! I’m totally open to collaboration down the line, but mostly looking to chat and brainstorm for now.
