Feedback Request on (WIP) 3D models for an outfit

Hi eveyone, Would love some feedback on my current WIP models. I've been modeling on and off for about 8 years and I wouldnt even consider myself a novice to be honest. Trying to have a real serious continuous crack at it (as In move onto something else after this). Im currently making an outfit for Fallout 4, The outfit is from the character AK12 from Girls Frontline and would really like some feedback on my models, they are probably pretty bad, I'm under no illusion about that. Im currently working on the jacket and have just got my base shape going with it. I feel like I might want to revist the trousers/pants at some point. I've included my reference image first for people to see what I'm making.

The best way to create and fit a costume is over a human model as you have done. The female model is not very compelling and there are parts that are anatomically incorrect. The first thing to do is get the figure under control. For that you can use a free app like Daz3D as a reference next to the screen you are working on. Don't simply copy the figure as there is nothing to be learned by that. Rotate and zoom the figure so you can see how the parts relate to each other. You can even switch off the textures so you can concentrate on form.
Practice your figures till you can dream them. Research clothing on places like Artstation just so you dont have to reinvent the wheel. Just something extra is an app like Marvelous Designer which allows the use of  a very effective cloth sim.

    Have fun!

    Thank you for responding!

The body isnt mine, as Im making this for Fallout 4 as a mod I'm am just using a body from there and I cant really change it as it will interfered with other players usability, not that I think anyone will use this once its finished anyway haha That said whilst making the clothing, there are someparts that definitley have felt off anatomy wise. I just wanted to see if there was any glaringly apparant faults with my clothing models, wouldnt be suprised if there was!

I will check out Marvellous designer, thank you for pointing it out!
