[WIP] The Fiat X1/9

Hi all!!!

I have decided to model this Fiat X1/9 as a modeling practice. The idea behind it is to get better at hard surface modeling and at the same time have something nice to put in a showreel. I will try and make it as detailed as possible, with interior and all the nooks and crannies, not sure if I will make the engine etc.

I would much appreciate it if you could help me with topology and advice. Also, all critiques are welcome.

Early version without all the accessories and interior.










Changed a couple of things, discovered new angles from references, fixing topology, added accessories and interior.

    Currently, I am stuck at doors because they don't "fit".
    They are kinda too big on the inside and at the angle to fit, but then I have problems elsewhere in the interior, so it is a constant back and forth of figuring things out and trying to fix them.

    If they are not that big on the inside, then I have a hole here between the dashboard and the doors where hinges go.

    I'd first sort out the overall body shell topology which is causing surface distortion in turn other errors as well - just apply a reflective madcap to see what I mean.

    Put your last image first so you have an updating preview of your thread especially cause it is a wip. Webp doesnt work in the preview try .jpg
