I've been working on this over at the place formally known as Twitter, but I'm at the screaming stage, so I thought I would start posting the rest of the build here, since I'm far enough along. How it started...
Last update for the night. Outer Wheel rims are done. I spent way too much time on a cover this morning that I ended up scrapping. Oh well. Working my way to the back of it now.
Having blocked out the engine on a small block, I realized that it should be a big block, so I redid the valve cover. I kind of like that slightly unsmoothed mesh look.
Left to model are the rear drive, Part of the visible chassis, a few rear bits, the sweepers and maybe a couple of surprises. I also beefed up the fuel lines and the fuel pressure gauge, I think they read better. Looking forward to the weekend.
It was a long part of the project, but the HP is finally at a finished state. A lot of pieces that never made the cut. I'm happy with the flow of the topology. I kept the sweeper pretty simple in the end, since I needed it to retract within the car. A closer pic of the engine. ..And yes,, those are rockets.🤣
Are you planning to fabricate this little guy, the "missile" attachment system reminds me of the old toys with the spring lock mechanisms for clicking a trigger to launch the projectiles.

Dont really have any criticism, just want to say its looking good. I'm especially liking this section
I've always really loved making chassis with splines. It just boils down to plausible geometry.
