We are looking for a talented and experienced 3D Lead Artist who will lead his/her team with enthusiasm and as a professional role model to achieve artistically, technically and economically convincing and inspiring results for our demanding customers.
- You lead and manage a heterogeneous team of 3D, character and technical artists in a hybrid (on-site and remote) working environment.
- You transform the TriCAT product vision and ideas of our customers into graphically, creatively and functionally impressive solutions with outstanding usability and an inspiring user experience.
- You are responsible for the overall quality, time and cost targets as well as a state-of-the-art production pipeline and efficient processes.
- You will lead, coach and develop your team from an artistic, technical and project perspective.
- In close cooperation with executives from the development department, project managers and clients, you will ensure targeted and efficient communication and collaboration as well as the best possible results.
- You are regularly involved in the creation of environments, scenarios, assets and other tasks along the entire production pipeline.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in the role of 3D Lead Artist and responsibility for 5-10 team members
- Several years of work experience as a 3D Artist in a real-time 3D environment and with relevant skills in the fields of 3D modelling, character design and animation
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree (or comparable education) in the field of 3D graphics
- Business fluent in German and English
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, creative and communication skills
- Proven good project management skills
- Excellent knowledge of industry workflows and technical standards
- Excellent knowledge of current 3D software (3ds Max or equivalent)
- Excellent knowledge of Substance and Photoshop texture/authoring tools
