Zbrush Question - Color / Polygroup Swatch

Maxon did a video earlier: https://www.youtube.com/live/EtzSLAwSEYA?si=fBN8v_IYBiurAMvn. At 34:12 there appears to be some sort of color swatch on the left side of the canvas. Does anyone know what this is? He opens up the file and it appears, and it turns off latter when he turns on backface masking for some reason. 

I'm thinking it has to be some sort of plugin? Purhaps a way to store colors for polypainting? Or something to do with polygroup colors?

I remember this type of color bar for zbrush and wondered why it wasn't the default especially since it adds "cleanliness" to the u.i. for me, especially when customizing the u.i. for your needs.

This (from whomever posted it 10 or so years ago, is the bar i am speaking of but it wasn't as long/big, still fine if that is all that can be done.)

I left things default since in the past the u.i. (for me anyway) would always break the way i made it and it just didn't help and just made me kind of sad that i put time into it and it just didn't function as i wanted it to.  I put every button i touched on the u.i. so i didn't have to really open any panels and it broke everything after like a few uses the .u.i. on reload would be missing things...
