Hello,

I hope this message finds you well. I'm currently a game design student, having recently completed my Bachelor's degree and now pursuing my Master's. I'm interested in applying for a position as a 3D Art working student, and I'm seeking feedback on my portfolio.

In regards to my portfolio, I'm uncertain if I have enough pieces or if my project "All Electric Valley" is visually appealing enough. Should I present my assets differently? Are there any glaring issues or areas for improvement that catch your eye?

Hit me with all the flaws. I can take it. Any feedback you could provide would be immensely helpful.

Warm regards

Lina

What additional information would be interesting for the recruiter? Do you approve of how I present my assets, or should I consider a different approach in my Portfolio?"

    Neutral point:
Personally I don't  think there's any real value in customising your artstation but you've done it now and it didn't annoy me so there's no reason you should change it

    Good points:
Your presentation is good. I get a decent idea of your capabilities and you've chosen some very nice shots/dioramas to show your work off.

Your work is all of a very distinct style so you probably aren't going to get much interest from studios that focus on photorealism but I'd say this is a solid graduate portfolio.

Things you could maybe think about as you add more work:
Demonstrate that you can work in different styles and moods. It's important with stylised work especially that you can express different feelings with shape language, color palettes and so on.

Thanks a bunch for the feedback! Really glad you liked my presentation and the work I showcased. Your suggestion to explore different styles and moods is spot on, and I'm already brainstorming ideas for my next piece. Thinking of diving into different art styles from games like Valorant, Kingdom Hearts, Duskfade, or Ni no Kuni, since I'm a big fan and I have also heard it's beneficial to demonstrate that I can work in other studio art styles.

I think especially duskfade has an interesting shape language and mood so maybe I will try this one .Thanks again for the tips!

I want to hone my skills in specific areas. Do you think I have any weak points in my work? I'm considering focusing on sculpting, hand painting, or modeling for the next month, but I'm unsure which one to prioritize.
