I am new to UE5.. Is there a good asset browser that can store meshes (with assigned materials) and materials for later use in othere scenes? I have found Connecter, wich looks very good. but 50 € a month..
my first reaction is that you can just make an unreal project for that. how you back it up is totally flexible, can handle that like any other project.
but as for viewing and searching for assets, dont think you find anything more convenient for unreal. and you can just migrate to other projects easily and it's going to handle all the dependencies. Anything else wont take care of that.
Thanks @Alex_J, I want an cassic asset library function. Like the one Blender or C4D has built in. Where I can store assets, view, search and save to for later use. Connecter has this functionallity, but was hoping that I have missed somthing in UE like a plugin or so.

I don't use them myself but our art team seems to like them

its geared towards general game development but might still be some helpful ideas even if you only use it for storing assets
