There are some interesting modeling improvements in the latest maya.

As you can imagine they arnt perfect. If someone finds an issue with a mesh and smart extrude please post it here.

looks incredible i hate to change versions but i am going to have to. last few iterations of maya really bringing extremely useful things

Thanks for the great video. SmartExtrude came from Max, where it's been for a while now. Looking forward to more movement between Autodesk's tools. Like more of the sweet USD support from Maya coming over to Max.

I spent twenty minutes looking for the 2025 bonus tools... turns out it is now included as a plugin, just turn it on from the plugin manager.
