Hello! I’m Joshua Shifflet, a 3D Artist specializing in realistic prop creation and texturing. 


I’m experienced in multiple disciplines beyond that as well, ensuring an approach that takes multiple levels of production into account for everything I make, from level design and gameplay, to rigging for animation.

I’m looking for an entry to mid-level position to make use of my skillset, grow as an artist and to be part of something bigger!

Skillset
•  Realistic prop and hard surface asset creation for PBR, weapons and decorative props using either bespoke textures or trims.
•  Commitment to optimization for assets in game production including, efficient poly usage, UV mirroring and custom LODs
•  Flexible with workflows and utilizing specialist software to boost asset quality such as Zbrush or Marvellous Designer.
•  Experience with level design and environment creation, boosting quality in prop creation with regards to storytelling and gameplay.
•  Knowledge of rigging for games, aiding in creation and optimization of assets such as weapons or other assets that need movement.
•  Self-motivated and always open to learn and adapt to whatever is needed.
