Job Description
Boiling Point Media is looking for an experienced senior level artist to join our visual effects team. Our artists create visual effects and animations for films, commercials, and websites. Essential skills for this role are technical skills, industry-standard software expertise, creativity, attention to detail, teamwork, strong communication skills, organization, and deadline orientation. Extensive portfolio and direct link to demo reel is required. This is a contract position that may turn permanent.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with our seasoned team in the field of Computer Graphics (CG).
Contribute to our Visual Effects Pipeline to deliver finalized shots for feature films, TV, and web applications.
Engage in diverse tasks, including Modeling, Sculpting, Texturing, Lighting, Rendering, and Compositing of 3D assets to craft complete shots.
Forge close partnerships with art, design, and animation teams to comprehend project objectives and contribute inventive solutions.
Coordinate with various departments to ensure the seamless integration of visual effects into the overall project.
Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques, ensuring the utilization of cutting-edge technology.
Offer guidance and support to junior VFX artists, sharing knowledge and best practices.
Optimize the performance of VFX assets while upholding visual fidelity standards.
Collaborate with technical artists to implement and enhance VFX within the technical constraints of diverse platforms.
Design and execute pioneering visual effects for diverse projects, ensuring alignment with artistic vision and technical specifications.
Establish and manage a repository of reusable VFX assets.
Qualifications: We are seeking artist who possess any or a blend of these skills:
Proficiency in advanced compositing using After Effects or Nuke.
Expertise in Unreal Engine.
Exceptional skills in sculpting with ZBrush.
Advanced proficiency in texturing using Substance Painter
Expert level in modeling and/or animation using Maya.
Additional experience with Houdini, Embergen, Character Creator 4, iClone, and/or Marvelous Designer
