is it possible to generate AO map in MT without high poly mesh, just using displacement map? In Knald you load in displ map and then you can get AO, cavity,... Knald gives me some artefacts and Marmoset would give me better quality. I need it for terrain, high poly meshes. If I add displ in a imported plane in Marmoset it gives me artefacts around edges, that I can't fix yet, 64 mil meshes are a bit heavy. If I could use just displ map would save me some time.
