Hello!
My goal is to make top-down environment assets in a pre-rendered 3D style, basically like Super Mario RPG. I can't find any other good examples, so I've also included pics of static backgrounds from PS1 games that have similar art direction, just not the top-down perspective. 16-bit games like Donkey Kong Country or Sonic 3D Blast would also be good examples of the aesthetic I'm after.
