Blender or directly to Unity

Hello everyone. Is it possible to create a game set on an island by designing the entire island in Blender and then importing it (possibly as individual components) into Unity? Or should the island be built piece by piece in Unity? What is the best approach?

Hi, sure, you can totally make a game that's set on an island by designing the whole thing in Blender and then chucking it into Unity. Doing it this way lets you get really creative and detailed with your modeling in Blender. But if you want, you could also make the island bit by bit directly in Unity, which gives you more power over stuff like game performance, changing environments, and making tweaks more easily. What you pick boils down to things like what kind of artistic style you're going for, how well the game needs to perform, and if you need to have elements that can change on the fly. Each way has its own good and bad points, and the best way for you will depend on what exactly you need for your project and other stuff to do with development.
