Scan Browsing Software?

Hi!

At work we have lots of scans, and I'm looking for a good solution to browse them and sort them, something like XnView for 3D files I guess.

Ideal features would be:

• Support ~300mb obj files
• Simple viewer to orbit around the scans
• Tag system to describe what's in the scan, for sorting (linear hierarchy isn't enough when some scans contain multiple elements)
  
• Share the Tag information across a local network
  

I've looked around and haven't found any convincing solutions so far, would hate to have to develop something internally for such a generic tool. Anyone have some recommendations?

p3do might work for this. Unfortunate name IMHO haha, but it's basically a 3d browser for Poser models. I've chatted with the developer awhile back, to get support for inspecting individual color channels on bitmaps, they were very responsive to requests.

That name though, damn lol.

I'm thinking maybe trying to modify Blender's Asset Browser could be a solution as well, haven't used it much.

Actually no haha. Developer is a non-native English speaker.

I pointed out the unfortunate connotation, but they’ve already built a user base and didn’t want to change it.
