Substance Painter - When to use the Bevel Filter?

Hi there...
Question... Do you guys ever use the Bevel filter in Substance Painter?
and if so, do you have any examples or workflows of when to use it?
I've tried googling, but there is so little on the topic...

    Yeah, pretty frequently, although it should be called 'distance' or something - 'bevel' is misleading. 
    So, all the ways you might want to expand/pad out masking. If you've got some kind of grunge layer, you can reference it with anchor points and 'bevel' to make secondary layers.
