Stylised Italian Street [WIP]

For this environment piece I want to improve on several skill such as composition; stylised art style; lighting and modularity. 
I have created a hybrid block out to show to show basic forms and colours. I will be posting regularly to show progress and to gain some insightful feedback from those willing to do so! Any helpful criticism/feedback will be highly appreciated!

    The lit area in the center looks really blown out. And I don't think that red fire hydrant against the blue wall in the corner is working for the composition...my eyes keep wanting to look at that spot.

    Can't wait to see it with some materials!

    I have created this painted plaster material in Substance Designer for the wall

    I have also made colour variations for the different coloured houses. 
    I made modular wall and roof pieces that snap together with no gaps

    as well as adding some fully modelled (but not yet textured) assets such as balcony and lamp
    I have also added the small tree area at the back and moved the store front to the end to give more of a focal interest
