Long planks

Hi.
I'm working on a church to improve some of my skills in creation of buildings (tileable textures, vertex painting) and I'm strongly inspired by Red Dead Redemption 2. However, one thing keeps puzzling me: this church and it's long, wonderful looking planks.
How those planks can be looking so unique? I can't find any noticible element that is repeating. How can I achieve this effect?

It's definitely tiling, it's just well done, and with subtle enough details.
Wouldn't surprise me if they also use vertex painting or similar to break up some of the lighter/darker aspects, in places, especially towards corners, etc.
You can see below, I marked with matching colors some repeating details.

it's probably another modulating texture overlays with different mapping coordinates to disguise the tiling.

    4x4 tiled no overlay

    overlayed @ 50% no tiling
    using....

it can be colour btw the tending to white just makes the maths easy also being gray scale it can be kept in the alpha channel of the texture.

It's also worth noting that this sort of thing could be added to a light map
