Hey everyone! I'm rather new to polycount and was just wanting to showcase a character I've been working on, so I hope I'm going about this right ( 〃..)
The character was created in the style of Overwatch2, My goal was to turn him into a fully textured game-ready asset referencing Overwatch's style.
As soon as I saw the concept art for this character I knew that I had to recreate them in 3D. I took on this character as a challenge for myself, to learn how to model intricate shapes and pieces of armor, since it's the one part of 3D that I struggle with the most. By the end of the character I can confidently say that I've improved on that front. It was really interesting to see how an anime concept with fantasy elements would translate when recreated in 3D with an Overwatch-style.
My dream is to work at Blizzard some day, so any constructive criticism or feedback on Presentation or how to make any future characters look more Overwatchy would be great!
