Hello there,
I used to handpaint my models in 3D coat, but I want use SP for handpainting, which I really like. The only thing I don't like is that I always have to press with the pen/cursor on the color/mesh after pressing the hotkey for color picking.
Like in 3Dcoat or photoshop you can hover above a color and just hit the assigned hotkey to pick the color/material.
but in SP you only toggle the picker with the hotkey, instead of immediately picking the color.
This question sounds really weird and it's just one click more, but I color pick a lot when handpainting and this doubles the amount of clicks to paint.
It's not a big deal, but I'm curious if there is a setting which allows to immediately pick the color with only one hotkey, not needing to press on the color afterwards.

I'm wondering the same. I don't understand why some workflows in Painter are just not optimized. These are really basics, and it's not like Adobe never met Photoshop.
