Does "Find" in Adobe Bridge really work ?

It doesn't in a half of folders on my PC . Find nothing at all, no specific pattern. Even when you ask just for any file .
Not sure even if it's Adobe issue since it worked just fine few years ago. Adobe suggests to check in "show items in subfolders" but it fixes nothing on my end.
Does anyone know a fix for that?
