perpetual licenses via steam?

I just found out that these are available through steam...so pardon that i'm a little late to the news.

Curious how it works (and how you guys like it for those that use it).

Since it runs through steam, is it just as easy to use interchangeably across different machines as a regular subscription?

And do you still need your adobe account on top of that to use it?

Very late reply here, just saw this.

Yes, anywhere you have steam installed, you can use it.

No, you don't need an adobe account.

I buy it every year against the time it inevitably goes subscription only.
