Problem in baking

Hello,

I'm trying to bake my model in marmoset 4 and the bake brings up these weird white edgelines in some places of the model. Anyone have a clue what this could be? In the second picture you can see, that only that one part of the model is having that odd line. The highpoly and lowpoly meshes are identical on both side but the problem still occures only on one side of just one part.

What does the low poly look like without the normal map applied?

Usually, this sort of artifact is caused by having hard edges on the low poly mesh but not splitting the UVs up at the hard edge borders. So the solution would be to make sure the edges on the low poly are soft, or to separate the UV islands along these edges. This might explain why it is visible on one side of the mesh but not the other - assuming the is a UV seam on one side and not the other.

See the Hard Edges and UVs block in the Best Results section here: https://marmoset.co/posts/toolbag-baking-tutorial/
