We are looking for a passionate 3D Artist to bring life and fun into our organization's projects. In this role, you’ll help with our 3D design-related efforts, ranging from character development, to environment building, to asset creation. You'll be there in the early stages of our world and your work will have a substantial impact. The ideal candidate will help us bring this vision to life and put smiles on our users’ faces.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, present and execute ideas within time and technical constraints while actively participating in artistic, creative and technical, problem-solving
- 3D asset content creation including modelling, texturing, and materials, at both mobile and high-end specs
- Iterate and polish assets and publish complete assets
- Collaborate with engineers and artists to develop an effective and consistent asset pipeline that empowers teammates to do their best work
- Receive and provide art and design feedback
Requirements
- Experience in creating various types of 3D assets, including (but not limited to) characters, environments, and effects
- Proficiency with Blender, Maya, Substance, Zbrush, Photoshop or equivalent software
- Complete understanding of modelling, texturing and optimization of assets
- A strong portfolio demonstrating your 3D artwork to very high standards
- Solid understanding of asset pipelines and agile development environments
- A good understanding of technical considerations for 3D asset development, with the ability to communicate with technical team members
- A self-motivated team player, with good communication skills
