Mandalorian Amban sniper high poly | Need feedback for the topology | Blender

Hi,

I am an absolute beginner who is working on his first more "complex" project. In doing so I was already able to improve my modeling skills, but I really want to go through the entire process of high/low poly, UVs, backing, texturing in quixel etc.. I dont know what I am doing and am just slowly stumbling my way through this. I think that I am supposed to have good topology before converting the model to low poly, but I dont know what this besides avoid n-gons. I still have a plethora of questions but any help in form of tips, resources etc. would already help immensely. Thanks in advance...
