Hello,
I'm working on a model that has a glass piece that I wish to be see through, but I'm using the PBR-Spec-Gloss shader. Whenever I try to find out how to create glass I hear that you have to change shaders to something with alpha-blending, but the only shader I have available is PBR-Metal-Rough with alpha-blending. When I switch over all my work gets messed up. Is there a way to add alpha-blending to my preferred shader?
Thanks.

I searched this up to try and find a Spec-Gloss-Opacity shader, but I couldn't find anything. I couldn't find any shaders to download from their website either, and I don't know how to make my own.
You'll probably have to make one. The second link goes to the Shader API which has sample shaders and Alpha components you can add.
Shader editing can seem daunting at first (it was for me) but it's really pretty easy once you dive in. And it's really cool, opens up a ton of possibilities! https://polycount.com/discussion/160691/sketchbook-eric-chadwick/p1
Substance Designer is a graphical node based shader editor, which makes shader authoring very accessible the artists with minimal technical experience.

Just noticed this but ben (ShaderFX) has been posting videos on topics like these you can probably pay him for some personal attention otherwise he has videos on youtube: (for all)
