Sorry if the title is unclear, I'm not really sure how to explain my issue with few enough words
I'm trying, for the first time, to texture a dagger I modeled. The model is split into 4 meshes and each mesh has its own UV tile. As you can see in the image, the crossguard and the handle mesh are connected, but there is a very visible seam despite using the same materials. How would I go about solving this without putting both meshes in the same UV tile?

You wouldn't - You'd put them both on the same UV tile :)
Why do you want them separated?
while one could question the use of udim in such case, i dont think your problem is because of using that workflow.
how does your model look in your modeling app? or in painter without any material applied? complete uv layout? normals? normal bake?
