Substance Painter Generator Visual Bug

When ever i try to add a generator to my layers, it bugs out and the material becomes black and white with really strange inverted normals (texture).

does anyone know why this is happening?

Here are some screenshots

Simple setup; two fill layers, top one is cast iron bottom one is rust

Add metal edge wear for testing purposes, material looks absolutely horrible and becomes unrecognizeable

Hi! I think you would want to add the generator to the layer mask, not the layer itself.
