Substance Designer Help - Masking parts while keeping the weave?

Hi all,

I'm trying to make something like the reference image floating on my Designer viewport.

I've already blocked out the colours and realised, they don't match the weaves that I've created.

So, I've created the weaves by using tile generator, but now I'm not sure how to mask it like the reference image.

I've tried using mask map input to block the tiles(weaves) first, but since I've used Safe Transform to make it weave, it masks out like this:

But I want to mask out the horizontal stripes.

Should I make the transform in Tile Sampler - mask them out then blend it?

I've got a triangular pattern which is like the reference image to make.

Any suggestions?

Thank you!

So I've just tried out making it all in Tile Sampler, it worked.

But would this be only way though, since this is what I actually want to make:

Any suggestions? This project is for learning purposes so I don't mind the material getting too expensive.

    Thanks!

The way I'd do it is by using the material workflow.

    here's a simple example:

Substance already comes with a pre-made material node called "fabric009" that you can use with the "material blend" nodes and a few adjustments to make any pattern you want.
