Hi guys, I want your help to improve my model, any tips are welcome.
And mainly tips on how i can make an interesting Afro hair. Those are my attempts with noisemaker and nanomeshes.

Like i assume there is a version of that guy you post as a reference having a face or standing? maybe showing that might help us guide your C&C.
are you planning to make the musical instrument as well?
I like it so far, i'd tell you to "stylize/exaggerate" all aspects around the model more, look at a.s.s's site for style inspirations.

Thanks for the concept and response looks neat, never saw the show, busy, busy, otherwise, my comments stand, if you are going for 1:1 and do not want to do what i mention to "make it your own, in a way" then that is cool too.
