Hey there New to the polycount community, been working on a 3d rendering of a Airship wanted to know some feed back about what to do with the piece .
Here ill show a rendering of my airship that I've created as of the 2022 revision of the idea.
Constructive feedback is recommended but i don't mind other critiques that can help make the concept better.

hi, i do not see if you are going for realizm or a styled look so.
More:
I'd look into IRL boat sizes and adjust the platform accordingly, that will help solve the tightness i see with the spacing between the cannons and the "fence".
I felt like attempting to give you a visual, if a picture is a 1000 words then here is a paragraph of helpful information:
wood: (i'd like to see on this)
from: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/Qn6gWB
the metal i'd like to see on this:
from:https://www.artstation.com/artwork/qQlJxa
balloon material stuff and things:
from: (not meaning for you to make the balloon colors like this or the balloon style either, it is just references)
https://www.artstation.com/artwork/aY9yO9
Hope it helps, otherwise i see uv texture map seems across all the metal, the blue looks weird some how & slapped on real quick, showing you might not care too much or are like you said new to these things which is fine.
I'd say tackle one thing at a time giving it the most concentration then moving along to other aspects of your goal to achieve the end results, hope others come into help but other things might be taking up their time like their after lives. (but who knows maybe we all want to stay in la,la land longer.)10/10 links to artstation do not work now? lol strange happenings on win 11.
Thanks for the feedback, going to be awesome from the feedback and critique
Definitely will look more into this.
referenced the materials and added the feedback thank you.
Rendered it also in unity,
