Hello! i would like to have some help please, i'm having an issue with a bitmap i made to only show the black text on it.
I don't know why it's showing a dark background during the rendering i searched to fix this problem but didn't find anything about it, could you help me please?
I'm sure it's probably nothing but still. Thanks for your help!
Render with less light you can clearly see the bitmaps background
Render with more light background is less visible ?
How it's plugged in the material editor. (The VrayMtl is linked to a multisub)

Are these two Bitmap nodes using the same image file? What are the settings you are using in the opacity Bitmap node?
PNG is not a good format for Alpha support, as some image editors will optimize the RGB where the alpha is black, changing your RGB colors.
3ds Max also has lackluster PNG support. Probably because of the high complexity of options in the format. Better to split your alpha into a separate file.
Hello, yes it's the same image i just use the invert option with photoshop. :)
For the opacity options do you mean this part ?
Okay i see, so basically what type of file should i use then TGA? TIFF ?
EDIT : Okay i found what it is, i have to righ click on the sticker -> object Properties and then :
And after now more grey background :) thanks for your help !
Ah. Just using Invert may be causing some problems. You also need to make sure the background area in the alpha is completely black. It's probably a dark gray instead.
Also, you don't have to use an alpha channel for opacity. Just save it as a separate RGB image file.
Okay thank you for the suggestions i'll try next time.
