[Full Time] Environment Outsource Artist

We are seeking a talented, motivated, and experienced Environment Outsource Artist. Your high level of organizational skill and keen eye for detail will amplify the bandwidth of our content pipeline. You will empower creators to build the experiences of their dreams. Our headquarters are located in San Mateo, CA but this role can be fully remote.
Responsibilities
- Ownership of the integration of 3D assets ranging from props to vehicles and modular kits.
- Work with Art Leads and Art Directors to provide timely feedback, including paintovers, written feedback or video feedback.
- Create detailed documentation ensuring style continuity.
- Handling of fine tuning adjustments and ensuring quality control of final assets in a live product.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in game development.
- Familiarity with 3d packages such as Maya or 3DS Max, Photoshop, Zbrush.
- Understanding of next generation asset creation pipelines and tools.
- Deep knowledge of 3d asset creation processes and techniques.
- Strong organizational skills and an eye for detail.
- Self-motivation, excellent communication skills, and a great team-player attitude.
Pluses
- Artistic eye and ability to draw and create paintovers.
- Experience in game art production.
- Experience in AAA asset creation.
- Experience working with Substance Painter and Designer.
- Experience working with Unreal Engine 4.
- Experience optimizing assets for mobile.
- Skill in one or more related disciplines – concept, drawing, modeling, digital sculpture, procedural materials.
- Fluency in NFTs, Crypto, Metaverse.
