Hi guys, I've started developing a game, to learn UE blueprints and realize a game idea at the same time.
I've been doing this for a while now, and happy to start sharing my progress. Here's the whole playlist
You can critique and post suggestions, all are welcome :)

Currently the main gameplay functions have been established. The graphics are all over the place, first I need to set up a proper dynamic level progression system before the actual level design!

very cool, i like prototypes. your vacuum-shoot mechanic has appeal even in it's current state and works well with your camera. keep us updated on your progress.
Added some path finding logic for the idle pig movement.
Then, made a dynamic level progression system that takes into account the number of maps and the different worlds. I still have to complete the logic and clean it up, as it currently uses casting. I have to turn it into interface 😂
Aye, added some mockup graphics for now
First draft of the shader, minor bug fixes
Added secondary menus and SFX
Pig charging! An inside view on trial and error, and how I dealt with creating this behaviour!
Tool breaking mechanic!
Implemented mobile controls and learned how to breakdance
Here's a small demonstration of what I have so far. Everything is still a placeholder
Added 'fire' placeholder and extinguishing behaviour
Now all enemies respond to the weapon at the same time. That drained the life out of me, but fixed the behaviour to be as intended.
Added UI element above the character. Will probably remove the 'tool' text
where'd you get these awesome sfx!? 😋
I made those with FL studio! Pig sounds are recorded from family and colleagues 😂
The dreading vacuum VFX is done! Came out a bit better than I imagined ! Might still need to polish later
I have cleaned up the logic and now I can mix and match stuff!
Also added a 'food' mechanic/behaviour
Slow but steady, getting there!
Added some gameplay indicators to better understand what is happening around
At the same time I made a complete list of 3d assets, currently not showcased in the video.
If you have an idea on how this game / level design should be for this game, let me know!
