Hi
Is it possible to make a mask from a shape? I've already created a pattern, hooked it to a Blend node, along with a simple rectangular shape, set it to Multiply so the pattern shows in the rectangle, and then I've used a Swirl Greyscale to deform the shape. Really nothing fancy at all.
But is it possible to generate a mask from this so the exact shape can be used as a mask? This way, I can make sure the patten inside stays neatly in there without bleeding over another shape nearby.
Surely this can be done, right? Like you can in Photoshop? If so, what would I need to do? Thanks.

You can save any image directly out of designer - there's a save button in the 2D preview window. Besides that, anything you connect to an ouput node will be saved when you export.
My guess you can use flood fill and then flood fill to index , but you need an outline for that pattern stripe. My guess it could be obtained from earlier nodes.
